ABOUT US
At SB Gemmological Solutions, we bring hands-on experience across every facet of the gemmological world. Our founder, a Graduate Gemmologist (GG) from GIA with over 15 years of experience in the gems and jewellery industry has played a key role in setting up and managing gemmological laboratories across the UK, US, UAE and India. With a strong foundation as a gemmologist, she led operations at SGL’s London laboratory for over a decade working closely with major industry clients and overseeing training programs.
Her work in designing and delivering educational courses led to a teaching role at GIA London, where she served as an instructor. To further deepen her expertise, she studied the prestigious DUG (Diplôme d’Université de Gemmologie) from the Université de Nantes — an advanced gemmology qualification that strenghtened her technical expertise in instruments like the FTIR, PL spectroscope as well as other research-driven practices.
